Qix Problem

Guys, this message isn't gonna make much sense. I really have no idea what
could be wrong with this game. Here is the symptom and the things i've
done.

The problem is the machine pretty much just sits there and does nothing.
I've had alot of experience in working on my Zookeeper and getting that
running, so I do know my way around Taito machines like this. Pressing the
test switch on the CPU board will cause the machine to do one small ram
sweep on the monitor, it will not show the switch tests afterwards or give
any sort of error. I have reburnt a new set of roms to no avail.

On the rom board U3 is missing, along with U24,U25 and U26. There are 3 rom
select chips labeled for 2716's which this does have.

I've swapped everything from the ZK into the Qix and back. Not including 2
cables and the transformer assy.

Nothing seems to help at all. I've even tried the ZK rom board with the Qix
roms and this bugger just sits there. :)

I'm convinced it's a rom select or something. I noticed there is a
alternate Qix set of roms that use U3 and i'm wondering if perhaps thats the
rom set I should use.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Steve

PS:All voltages have been checked.
