Rally-X troubleshooting

Hi everyone,

I have a flaky Rally-X that I'm fixing. There are two problems with the
board and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

1. None of the cars show up on the screen. I can move around the maze
correctly, the red cars do not move at all and everyone is
invisible. There are no red dots or white dot in the smaller display on
the right.

2. There's a 2-3 Hz thump-thump-thump noise coming from the game. I have
it wired up to a switcher outside of the cabinet. +5v and +12v look
fine. All the other sounds seem to work fine.

The initial self-test passes and I haven't done much investigation yet on
the board or if the EPROMs/PROMs are ok.
