Ach, you've exposed the flaw in my argument. Except that I don't buy my
caps mail order.
Just to put this whole "change some vs. change them all" thread to rest, I
bought every cap on the board, including the power caps, from a local
electronics store (Ra Elco Rules!) for the grand sum of $17.39. I'm going
to change them all. All 36 or so. First time I've ever had to do that.
And when I'm done, I'll make a PDF of the complete cap list with locations
and see if Pete will put it up on arcarc.xmission.com.
And if anyone is still reading this and has a Crazy Climber manual for the
cocktail with schematics, I'll pay $15 + shipping, then scan it in so the
bottom half of the pages aren't cut off and submit that to the various
arcade PDF repositories. I'd really like to see a complete manual available
for the other owners of this great game.
