Yes that is the wrong part
you need the "A" Suffix

You can use the following replacement parts for BR4

FEP16CTA - make sure it has the "A" in the part number
MUR1620CTR - make sure it has the "R" in the part number
MUR1620CTRG - make sure it has the "R" in the part number

Make sure you get the Common Anode
