And in follow-up.  Quarterarcade signature generator doesn’t find this game.  So I went to try to track down the roms.  I have found a couple of sites with roadrunm.zip but it only has a single rom in it.

9316.1e which is about 2k in size.

The board I here is using all 8 sockets.  It is strapped for what appears to be 7609’s.

Anyone know a good source for the roms on this?

Thanks,

David

Subject: RASTER: Road Runner test mode?

As I am on an 8080 kick I grabbed a Road Runner to test.  Mowermans old page says switches 7,8 off is test mode.  Setting them and booting results in a modified rug which eventually ends.  It ends up with a set of vertical bars and nothing else.

Anyone know how this test mode is supposed to work?

Thanks,

David
