Hi John :-
Thanks for your reply I have tried both variants of the Z80 and it seems to
make no difference, but strange to say I had a number of Z80,s which I
tested on a K.T.B.G. Galaxian board and all worked OK. when I tried them
in the cosmic alien ,out of say 8 chips only 3 worked umm wonder if it is a
speed problem.

The clock appears to run at 2.7Mhz when measured on a Hameg 60Mgh
Scope????????.
I cannot find anywhere on the Drawings the facility to disable the watchdog
I suppose I could tie the input to the cpu reset Hi but you never know if
the circuit expects to see a low to hi transition at boot-up!!!.
your thoughts on this would be most welcome.
