If we can offload the TL/1 Compiler to another computer would that help?

I think you would still want the Monitor / Programmer option for collecting
response data (I don't know of a way around that).

Worth asking, is it possible to use the 232 port as a monitor port with like
the 1020 touchscreen, as a primary monitor?
