Good question easy answer.

Make yourself a Null modem cable... Pin outs are readily available on the net. Try here: http://www.infonewsindia.com/pinout/#8

Basically, connect all the pins... Or just buy a null modem cable - they're cheap!

Can anyone tell me how to make one of these up please?

I have the diagram in the manual that shows me the pinouts for the 25way
on the back of the Fluke, and i have an old laptop with a 9way serial on
that back that i want to connect it to.

Cheers,
Martin.
