I'm at an impasse trying to
fix my broken 6809 pod. I've scoured the techtoolslist archive
and have not found a solution. I'm getting the pod timeout -attempting
reset error message when using a 6809E processor. Here's
what I know: the pod works fine with a regular 6809, the dip
switches are set right for the 6809E, the 6809E processor I'm using
works fine in a working star wars board, the clock source at the
input to U22 looks good on the scope, the U22 enable line is high, but
the u22 output is stuck low. Therefore, there is no input on the
processor EXTAL.

I think this is the problem.
Where do I go from here, replace U22? Before I go hacking around
on a rare pod, I want to make sure I'm on the right
track.
