I can confirm the version below works on my Dell PIII-700 and XP. Is your
cable OK? You do need a specifically wired cable as shown in the Data I/O
manual and to set the baud rate (going from my memory here) to 9600 N 8 1.
Also, is the serial port enabled in your BIOS?
