Re: 6800 to 6502 pod combo ROM?

Thanks for the help.

The eprom I have in there is labeled 540344 U3 1.1.  I tried comparing checksums with it and the three links above, and none of them matched.  I assumed this was the dual boot, and that's why I didn't change it out.

Is the 6502 the best one to use if converting?  Do I just burn this to a 2716 or do I have to double the image first?

Thanks again.

here is a tutorial:
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=217476

grab eprom files here:
http://arcarc.xmission.com/Test%20Equipment/Fluke/6800pod/

file "6502" is for a 6502 pod
file "540344r1.1.6800" is for a 6800 pod
file "540344" should be used for "dual boot" pod.

try and let us know.

6502A is a 2 MHz part (needed especially for vector games). On Dec 29, 2013 6:53 PM, "Troxelone" <troxelone@yahoo.com> wrote: > Is there a difference between a 6502a and a 6502p? I took a 6502p out of
