If any of you who bought LV2000's haven't gotten around to installing it
yet, do it now. Right now. Go home from work, get sick, and do it now.
I thought I was smart. I bought 3 kits, even though I have 1 WG in my
Tempest, figured who knows what I'll have some day. But when it came, by
Tempest was working. I had even beefed up the transistors as it said in the
FAQ. I figured, "Eh, I'll keep it for the next machine. This works fine . .
.."
Saturday night I had a bunch of friends over for drinks and games. And what
do you know, Tempest dies after 2 games. No HV in the monitor.
DOH!
So at least we still had Asteroids and Centipede.
So last night I built one of the LV2000's. Tonight hopefully I'll install it
Maybe my luck will change, and I'll actually get the dedicated Major Havoc
I just saw for $1,000.
