In a message dated 98-09-30 16:40:46 EDT, you write:

<< Anyone happen to have the technical specs on the WG (or Amplifone, or
 Electrohome-- pretty much anything) color vector monitor? In particular
 I'm looking for:

 * Yoke resistances, inductance

 * Max slew rate (V/uS)

 * current at maximum deflection

 * voltage across deflection coil at maximum deflection

 I've probably got them at home in a few different manuals, but I'm
 curious *now*. ;-)

 Trying to decide if something like the Apex PA46 power op-amp would make
 a nice Vector Deflection board. ;-) It looks like a *really* good
 possibility. (The PA07 or 09 might even cut it, maybe double-up for
 more current...) (www.apexmicrotech.com)

Amplifone specs:

Input Voltage: 52VAC RMS (center tapped) within +10% and - 13%

Input power: 150 watts AC at 52 VAC input voltage with amplifiers at maximum
deflection

X Amplifier input voltage: 16v peak to peak, +/-8v for 15 inches of
delfection.

Y Amplifier inout voltage: 12v peak to peak, +/- 6v for 11.25 inches of
deflection.

Z amplifier Drive: 4.0 v for maximum intensity; 1.0v for black level

Input impeadance:

X Amp: 2.5 kilohms
Y Amp: 2.8 kilohms
Z Amp: 1 kilohm

Wiring rates:

X Amp: .05 inches/microsecond
y Amp: .0375 inches/microsecond

Z Bandwidth:

5MHz @ -3db down

High voltage:

19.5 kv at 0 beam current; adjustable to within +/- 2.5%. The high voltage
regulation is 2% with a beam current to 100 microamperes.

Hope this helps Clay,
