If you want to replace G08 DefAmps, you'll have to have a display corrector
(I'm guessing that's what is in the custom part on the G08 amp) and it needs
to work at a pretty high voltage. You still may want to look at overcurrent
protection/full-scale deflection shutdown as well, and measure the 'flyback'
voltage across the yoke during rapid deflection changes.
