RE: Cosmic Chasm - G08?

I'll check the line voltages tonight. I am running the monitor on a
Convertacab
transformer also. When I got my CC, the power supply was water damaged
and a real mess. I replaced it with a switcher & G08 transformer, with
no problems.

Monitor schematics would be nice !

I have the same problem with my CC. if the line voltage is
low, the monitor starts showing retrace lines, and the
brightness is all
the way down on mine too. Of course my game was modified with
new transformers
for the monitor which were putting out about 82v on the line
voltage which
was about 112v. I stuck a transformer in there from a
Convertacab and it
put out 86v which helped a lot but I can still see a little
retrace.. I
dunno what it is, I have a pile of the regular G08 monitors and
none of
them are that sensitive to voltage as the new rev of G08 used in
CC.

Todd try measuring your line voltage and the output of your
monitor
PS..its probably low. The G08 is supposed to take 93V I think.

BTW: I might have the schematics for the monitor as the game
came with
manuals.. I still have to copy the manual for Jeff hendrix too
but it
kinda hard since its in Dallas and I'm in MN :(
