This is a place where the Fluke 9010A shines! It checks ram, rom and I/O at
system speed...mind you if you don't have one, then replace the Eproms, be
careful to get 350ns or faster. Some eproms seem to slow down on access
time as they get older, so if you start with faster ones it gives you a
margin for aging. The board self test should be able to identify the bad
Eprom, after all it is at system speed...leave the game in self test, and
press the RESET button every half hour or so. Oh, be sure to have the
monitor unplugged during tests, you will know when the game is OK when you
get normal game sounds after coining and "playing" the game, then plug the
monitor back in (with power off, of course) and see what shows up.

Happy New Year!
