Whacking doesn't help -- first thing I tried of course, since it happened
in the middle of a game. :-) I haven't tried swapping the X/Y inputs. Where
is the best place to do that, short of rewiring the molex connector ?

Too late to be working on games. It looses the RIGHT side of the screen,
which is why I unscrewed the *!#@!@&^!!! trans under the tube.
