Do you mean the picture is jerking around-the vectors shift at random? If
that is the case then you probably have the standard Monitor MotherBoard
Curse-caked solder connections on the pins of the Molex connectors.
Resolder ALL the pins on the MMB!

If the screen changes focus or expands and contracts at random, yet the
output screen voltage of the HV unit is stable then you have a bad HV
diode, and need to track one down. The archive here has the sources of those...
