RE: Asteroids Deluxe Bartop??

Hi There,

        I like it when I see these things simply for the fact that somebody
had a vision of how they might enjoy this game more without worrying about
where they would put an upright or cocktail. It is pretty heavy - not sure
how heavy, prob. about 60lbs.

        I have found an upright cab that was converted, but artwork ok. SO
I will use what I can from this (already have G05 ready and waiting for the
game). Since it is not an original as suspect, I am going to convert this
bad boy into a frogger for her (it's the only game she likes to play) :-)

It's a valiant effort! I like the 1x3's that are nailed together. How much
does it weigh? Looks like a LOT!

If you can find an upright cab somewhere, it looks like the harness will
fit. Or you could simply upholster this unit with a fair amount of black
covering a la Anvil cases, add some shiny hardware, and recustomize it to
your liking.

Folks,
        I haven't seen or heard anything about such a beast, but I have one
here now. I can only assume that this is simply custom built by somebody to
hold Asteroids Deluxe for whatever reason, but not actually a legitimate
one. Could someone please check out these images and tell me if this bartop
box has any significance whether or not related to Asteroids Deluxe. (the
components just seem to fit very well in the back - see mini4).
