Just thought some of you may get a laugh out of this.
It's a radio advert script for ASTEROIDS DELUXE and was distributed with
the asteroids deluxe press pack:

RADIO COMMERCIAL - ASTEROIDS DELUXE tm
60 SECONDS

STEREO: 2 people playing (teenage voices)

SFX: Player 1: (V.O.)
Loud game sounds - Atari(R)'s new ASTEROIDS DELUXE video game is
explosions fantastic. Check it out:
Left/Right

MUSIC: Player 2: (V.O.)
"Queen" type fanfare, Yeh, it's...hey, look out for those asteroids...
heartbeat rhythm up use the FORCE FIELD SHIELD ...
and fades

Gradual Crescendo Player 1:
to Killer Satellite It's got a lot of mind-blowing NEW stuff ...
segment like AsteroidsTM only MORE!

SFX: Player 2:
Game sounds Yeah, like SMART alien saucers that shoot at you
continue AND the rocks. You can't hide behind asteroids
throughout anymore to ambush the saucers.

SFX: Player 1: (Interrupting, excitedly)
Killer satellite Hey, what's THAT? It's coming right AT me!
sound effect
crescendo

SFX: Player 2:
Explosion Blast him, it's the new KILLER SATELLITE!

SFX: PLAYER 1:
Sound effect to I HIT IT! Look, it's breaking into guided
mark Satellite missiles. They're chasing me TOO!

                        Player 2:
                        Keep blasting - you have to get 'em all before
                        they get you - WATCH IT!

                        Player 1:
                        Rats! I'm out of spaceships. Your turn.

SFX: Player 2:
Electronic sounds Great. Wow, this new 3-D playfield's so
                        realistic. I feel like ... like I'm really
                        in outer spaaace ... (voice fades)

MUSIC: Player 1: (Excited)
Up and fades Hey, where are you going? You can't go in ...
                        Come back!

                        Local Announcer
