RE: Tempest monitor has no +25VDC

I just tried this with no luck. I did all of the molex connections and all
of the 1 pin plugs. I heated up the connection on the deflector board and
applied a little new solder. I made shure all of the sloden was hot so that
the flux would burn in. All this with no luck. But i only did this on the
deflector board. As far as i can see the ac to dc conversion on the
deflector board is where the problem is. what do you think? Looks like its
time for another guinness >=). Thanks -Derek

You don't need to unsolder them, just apply some fresh solder to the base
of every connection pin on the monitor mother board. Include the single pin
connectors as well, I've had those crack as well.
