the fans are standard 120mm types.

being more serious, i would recomend NOT using sleeve bearing if you can get
ball-race types.
they are more reliable.

also, i replace mains fans with 12v DC types, they are plastic - not metal so
they run faster.

this means that you can reduce the supply voltage (and hence the speed and
noise) by fitting a resistor in the supply or feeding them with about 9v
without them stalling.
MUCH NICER THAN SOME SLOW OLD ZINC-FRAME CRAP.
(especially in I-ROBOT that needs 2!)
