Christ, that's nuts.

There was an article in the NY Times (I believe) about the guys at NASA
who's job it is to scour obsolete parts places for things for the shuttle. I
rememer 8086 CPU's was one thing they were looking for. I was tempted to
send them the BG Micro link :-)

Maybe they should talk to Clay and some of the crew here -- there seems to
be quite a tallent pool in making replacements for obsolete parts.
