Atari AR2 +/- 15v modification

hi all..

i did wonder for a while why the AR2 has a bare patch to one side in the
36vac section, of all the AR2's i've seen, i've not seen this area loaded.

it occured to me the other day that there is a chance they intended on
loading it with +15v and -15v regulators, a job that is done in the AVG
section of vector boards anyway... i guess they could have experimented with
localised or remote +/-15v generation.. i dunno the specifics, but i think
the idea could have been dropped as you might have ground differences in the
wiring and probably putting more strain on the ic's in the avg section.

Ok, i'm babbling now.. however, i was thinking about loading the components
in to get -15v and +15v on my test rig AR2, the reason being that i have
cinematronics pcbs and bootleg vector games that all require +/- 15v and so
instead of building a seperate pcb to do this, i can just load them on the
AR2 nice, neat, and tidy.

My question being, is there a diagram, or a parts list, or does anyone know
of what other ancillary devices need to be loaded along with the T0-220
regulators?

I thought i'd throw the idea on here in case someone has already tried, so i
wouldn't be re-inventing the wheel.. If nobody does then i will just plow
ahead and guess :)

andy
