these can be ripped from old tv sets.

as for the 25-0-25 tranny your after, thats easy.
these voltages are often used for audio amplifiers in the 20-60w range,
just check some component suppliers.
use a torroidal type if you can, they are smaller and better.

i dont know about the u.s., but in europe there are these.
