Cine CPU in FPGA?

Hello all,

Did I remember correctly that someone had attempted to re-implement the
Cinematronics CPU in a programmable logic chip?

I'm curious because just I ordered an FPGA development system seen here:
http://www.burched.biz/

It has about 300K gates in it, and over 100 I/Os I think.

It would be fun to try something like that, if it would fit.
