I'd love to see a picture of it as it is to see what kind of damage was done.
Not for the purposes of morbid curiosity, but to see if in fact it can be
restored ;)

I would think if the sides and front panel were mostly intact, the carpentry
would be fairly straight forward. If you could get the side that's split in
two back into one piece (looking like a hairline crack) you could probably live
with that. The art is what I be most concerned with.

Post some pictures please, and everyone can more likely give you a better
opinon of whether or not it can be restored.
