Oh please. I'm in NY, about 20 min outside of Manhattan. It's RatShack or
mail order. There's a local guy who makes/repairs specialized radio grear
for the military, he helps me out with some small things that he has -- but
mostly he orders from Mouser or Digikey too !
(On the other hand, he's the one who helped me find the first cross for the
Electrohome G0-5 HV diode. He had actually installed them for Police 911
systems back in the 80's, and was very familiar with the monitor!)
