Scott was asking for the unhacked Vortex code. Apparently the original
Vortex PCB used different mathbox PROMs and thus a set of Tempest ROMs
would not run on his original Vortex PCB and vice versa. The code in
Clay's MG was modified so it would work on a stock Tempest PCB. I'm sure
Scott could comment better than I.

The MAME team decided they did not want to add the Vortex code as it was
considered a 'hack' and not original. I wonder if someone could make
their own build of MAME including it? The attract mode is WAY cool.
