Tech: Battlezone

I have an unusual fault with a Battlezone main board (the fault is
definitely on the main board and not the Aux board). The mountains (and
moon), usually (but not always), when scrolling left or right, tend to
flicker/judder/double up the image of said mountains and moon.

What happens is that the mountains and moon sometimes seem to have a
'ghost' image drawn a few millimetres to the left or right of the
originals which can make it look a bit like they are flickering/juddering.
These 'ghost' images come and go.

No other vectors are affected.

Note: the two LM319's have also been removed from this board, but surely
they won't affect the display of the mountains and moon? Not sure *exactly*
what they do in fact.
