G05-802 HV Unit Zenner Wattage ?

Hi,

I'm currently working on my HV unit in the G05-802 Monitor (got a spot in
the middle of the screen that wont go) - Been advised to service the HV
unit..

Basically I'm replacing most of the parts (all the capacitors and semi's) so
I can hopefully have many years of trouble free service (touch wood !!)

I've replaced the two zenner diodes 56V and 9.1V both rated at 1/2 watt, BUT
I used 1.3W versions (so they would be more robust - it made sense at the
time when I ordered them a while back !!!).

I've not finished with it, so havent applied any power yet....BUT I've just
read that if you sub higher wattage zenners, the device characteristics can
differ quite a lot !!! - Kind of makes sense, but I havent looked into it
fully.

My question is..... will I be OK (with a bit of adjustment to the hv pot
maybe), or should I either put the old 1/2 watt ones back in (or even get
new 1/2 watt ones) ?

Hope this makes sense,
Thanks Regards,
Colin
