Re: Space Dual with Amplifone Question

Here's a little more info. The SD has plywood monitor mounts to accept
the standard 6100 monitor. Like Joe M described, the Amplifone has 2
narrow sheet metal strips maybe 2" wide attached to the mounting tabs
left and right. These strips are then bolted to the cabinet mounts. The
strips have a pair of handles similar to drawer handles attached left
and right on the front side. Unscrew the tube, grab the handles and lift
it on the front. Simple yet elegant.

Game serial number is 9952. How does that stack up in the order of
production? Green HV and deflection boards. Upon closer inspection, no
game serial numbers or XY numbers on either board, no markings at all.
Tube does have the matching S/N, though. Wooden rails installed for the
HV and deflection board. Original red HV transformer. Does not have red
"mystery can", but instead has gray "mystery box". Last license on bezel
is a 1984 City of Chicago. (Our motto "Vote early, vote often") 502
plays on the meter. Nothing else unusual. Cab is a little rough, not a gem.

I have pictures in case anybody give a darn. Can't post them because I'm
over my bandwidth limit for the month. I'll be happy to email them to
anybody who wants them. Drop me an email directly so I can just hit reply.
