Without looking at the schematics, or my notes, I'm wanting to say either
tansformer will work, provided you rekey the main power distribution molex
connector. I think the G05-801 was expecting 30V, while the G05-802 did 24V?
Possibly. Easiest way is to get a copy of the early Asteroids schematics,
and compare them against the later revision (with the G05-802/V2000
monitors) and make sure you are putting all the correct voltages into it.

Both sets of schematics are on the xmission archive.
