And for my 2 cents...
    Put the switch on the monitor. Label the switch for the 2 boards
you're using. ONLY flip the switch when you change the boards, never
with power applied.

Though, to be fair, in the early days the yoke was switched via relay on
a very few cocktails, but never on a vector game.
