Gravitar Video Help Needed, strange (w/attachments)

Hello,
           I am new to the vectorlist, so forgive my ignorance. I purchased my Gravitar game without the audio/reg board nor the power block. I purched both and have repaired both. After install; I had some reset problems that I over came. It turns out someone had lifted a leg from one of the eproms. Once reseated the system powered up. Now the problem is the strange lines the appear on the screen during play and attract mode. Also the startup screen is missing all but the red planet. I have some experence fixing cinematronics games and a fairly good electrical background, however, I am not sure if this is a hardware problem or a software problem. Can someone please take a look at the photos I attached and give me a clue about how to troubleshoot this problem. Also, top score doesn't save; I think I know what to do to fix it.
