all-out attack,
lift one end of every resistor in the hv unit and meter them - i'v had those where some resistors change value.
i am rebuilding one slowly that i am replacing *evrything* other than the transformers on, all modern parts.
low-impedence electrolytics, multiplayer ceramics, metal oxide resistors,
you name it - it wont fail on me again that's for sure.
and the bu406 is probably going to morph into a bu2508!
