Yes, they use 35c and 36c. Can't answer as to why. I bought the design,
but didn't develop the product. I'd guess that they are a cheaper part or more
likely to be purchased as surplus and easier to mount. Also the heatsinks
were surplus from another industry and TIP products fit well.
