Adapter worked well. 2 machine pin sockets stacked,
with the top socket having pins 18,20,21 snapped off.
rest 2 sockets together and solder all pins to the top
of the socket below so there is large gap. Then solder
a wire to join those stubs to the lower pins:
18-21
20-18
21-20

and you have a 2532 adapter to work in a 2732 programmer.
