Tempest with a Major Havoc Roller Controller?

Has anybody played Tempest with a Major Havoc Roller Controller?

Besides the monitor orientation being different...

Just wondering if this would work and if there would be any adverse effects to gameplay?

I know Major Havoc conversion boards used slower crystals to compensate for the Tempest spinner, so would this also go in the reverse direction? Meaning playing Tempest with the Roller Controller. Would the crystals on Tempest board need to be faster? If so what speed, the same as the Dedicated MH crystals?
