Well, working back from the monitor -- wireing harness, card connector, card
fingers, op-amps, D/a converter, anything in the vector state machine, and
the voltage regulators (if MH has one, I don't recall.)

Oh yeah, and the AVG chip.

Generally you start by verifying all connections, then all power supply
voltages. Some Atari boards have regulators on the game board, I don't
recall if MH is one.

Your best tool is an osciloscope on the X/Y test points. Anything there ? If
both are dead it's usually going to be something up stream.
