I'm not sure it is a ROM problem because the same digit is drawn correctly
if it is not in the first position of the left player points, for example
"2345" points, "2" is corrupted,
"3245" points "3" is corrupted but not "2"

Anyway I remade all solders on sockets :)

the vector roms contain the tables to draw the characters,
afaik selftest cant check them either - only the program roms.

that said, it's asteroids - so it's probably the sockets ;)
