In order to connect 6100 parts with a 25" tube, I simply desoldered
the round, white neck connector from the 6100 neck PCB and swapped in
a connector from a G07.

I wouldn't mess around with trying to swap out the plastic adapter off
the end of the CRT neck.... I can send you guys pics of the setup but
it doesn't look any different than any other monitor with shunts and
magnetic tabs etc.
