The new spinner board has finally made it into its first customer's Omega Race upright machine. The owner reports a quick and easy installation followed by joyous instant gratification.

I have created a new compact circuit board that can serve as a replacement spinner for Omega Race. It has potential to work with other games such as Tron (by replacing the original counter board and optionally replacing the original spinner).

If you despise mechanical pots that wear out or if you loathe the "dead spot" caused by the pot itself as well as the miss states caused by the analog-to-Gray converter board, then this is your ideal solution. The QDC4 board has an onboard optical encoder, has no dead spot whatsoever, and requires no calibration.

Here is my webpage on the subject...

Consider this item as being in a beta testing stage. I am presently about to ship a couple of units and will be awaiting feedback regarding the performance from those people.

Feel free to email me (link available at bottom of webpage) with comments or questions.
