I am preparing to go through my amplifone deflection boards as described in the Amplifone FAQ and I have a question. The FAQ suggests adding 1N5342B zener diodes and calls them 7.5V 5W. However, when I look up 1N5342B at Mouser, I see a zener diode with a 6.8V 5W rating. It appears that a 1N5343B is a 7.5V 5W zener diode. Which diode should be used? Does the voltage discrepancy matter?
