[SEGA Space Ship] Great step forward !

Hi all.

These last two days, I could achieve a great major step
forward in reparing my 1978 SEGA Space Ship cabinet.

Two days ago, I fixed one important problem by changing
a RAM chip.
I could then discover with my DSO that the PCB was no
more reseting. Commands were sent to the vector display.

Yesterday evening, I put back the game PCB into the cabinet
and let it start.
I discovered that my vector screen is in good condition.
The game picture did appear ! :-)
I could ear the X & Y yoke amps running. It's hard to say,
but amps/yokes are doing some different noise when they're
idle and when they're running.
I remember having read this on some archived message from
this list.

There are still graphical bugs probably due to - I assume -
another bad RAM chip. I'll check this soon.
Most of the major screen parts are OK :
CRT, yokes, HVT, HV tripler, DACs, analog switch...

I'm so happy to see my cabinet back to life...

I'm trying, for important updates, to write in french AND in english !

Amicalement,
