I'd like to point out that MAME is currently up to version 0.137u1.
VectorMAME is 0.96 (http://zektor.com/zvg/vectormame.htm)

There have been 259(!) version updates to the MAME source code since that
time (I just counted).

Someone want to take it upon themselves to do a new build of VectorMAME?
And while your at it, integrate USB drivers? :)
