I wouldn't bang your head on anything. Instead I'd suggest having a beer,
that I suspect any of several people would be happy to buy you, for saving
them the frustration. If your experience had been better, you never would
have had to write the email in the first place, be it private or public.

For the record, I've never had any business deals with Dave and have only
talked about such with him, so I have no bias for or against Dave. Like many
of us, when he gets the time, he produces a quality product. That said, it's
fair to let people know what they're getting in to.
