100 pF won't affect normal operation. It will remove small glitches, not sure what's so special about D6. Someone must have had a little timing problem---6502 series processors don't give anything hooked to them a whole lot of time to keep up.

I'll have to look at the schematics and see why D6 was borderline.

I have seen four or five AVG boards lately that have
a 100pf cap between pin 27 and 21 of the cpu 6502A
this is between D6 and GND.

Can someone tell me whats up with this mod ?
