That was it - thanks guys. Not sure why I didn't replace then in the first
place - I did pull a couple a while back to replace the transistor mounts as the
leafs were bad on a couple. But everything was "technically" working -- I guess
I figured if one of those was bad, you'd blow F600 or F700 and you'd lose your X
or Y signal altogether. Strange issue indeed.

Now to center the image - crosshatch pattern is off-center, about 2 inches to
the left. I take it that's done with the yoke? No centering adjustments on the
monitor or an Asteroids Deluxe PCB...

I would agree with Andrew, I would suspect Q608, and Q709 or the section that
drives them.
