Building SWCP Amplifone monitor - need some help debugging issue!

I am restoring a Star Wars cockpit and I am at the stage where I am building the monitor, but I am running into a problem. I have nothing at all on the screen. Here is what I know/done so far...

1) The game plays blind, so the boardset is good.
2) I had the monitor working very briefly when it was out of the cabinet. When it was working, red and blue were not as bright as green
3) Once the monitor got put into the cabinet, I never really had it working again.
4) Deflection board - unknown, but behaves properly. Spot killer comes on briefly, then goes out. I hear deflection chatter.
5) HV PCB was rebuilt and should be good...at least it was good when last tested in a SW upright I no longer have...since this issue started:
   a) I've re-soldered the focus and intensity wires
   b) I get ~19.5kV measuring anode with a HV probe
   c) I get ~180V measuring B+ on the one leg of CR3, the HV diode on the HV PCB next to the flyback
   d) I took the tube connector apart and tightened up the pins with needle-nose pliers. I also measured resistance of all wires from tube connector to other end, all were < 0.4 ohms
   e) I measure ~ 2.5ohms across pins 9 and 10 of the tube connector, so the tube heater element should be good.
6) The monitor is built from a 25" 100 degree tube, WG6100 yoke. I had to extend the yoke wires, the DAG ground, and the degauss wires. I made sure the DAG ground is connected to both pins into the harness.

I do not see any neck glow. This seems to be the big clue, but I cannot figure out why?

I assume yoke and convergence magnet position would have no impact on my problem.

Please help! I assumed that trying to converge the tube was going to be the biggest problem...

Thanks,
Scott
